Safety Resources – Mobile SOS or Emergency Mode
Most people don’t realize that there are some great security features built into your smart phones. Well if you feel like you are in trouble you don’t have to open up any apps, you can just initiate the SOS or Emergency mode on your phone to set off an alarm. In this video we will show you how to set off the SOS Emergency mode on iOS, but here are the instructions:
iOS:
If you continue to hold down the side button and Volume button, instead of dragging the slider, a countdown begins and an alert sounds. If you hold down the buttons until the countdown ends, your iPhone automatically calls emergency services
Android:
Click on the Power button more than 3 times in a row
